Pros: I was left stranded with no vehicle. I made the reservation for the airport pick up, but find out it was for the downtown location. Turns out the downtown location was closed on the day of the pick up. How can Enterprise rent a car when they're not even open. Ended up having to take a Lyft to my destination two hours away.Cons: Anything and everything.

Pros: The staff was rude and extremely unhelpful. We were promised a premium truck which was then revoked. Upon arrival the truck was available but only in 2 wheel drive. Being we were in Colorado I wanted a 4 wheel drive car. Upon arrival the associate said they had a 4 wheel minivan available so I opted for that. It turns out the van was only 2 wheel drive and the associate lied to us. It snowed that night and we barely made it to our rental condo. We also missed a day of skiing because of the weather and our inability to drive. We called enterprise to see if they could provide a 4 wheel car. We never received a call back.Cons: Everything. After this experience I will never use kayak or enterprise again.

Cons: I cannot get in touch with the branch and no one has contacted me to close my ticket. It is outrageous that I cannot reach someone at the branch on the phone. The automated message literally says “sorry this request cannot be completed”.

Pros: Due to extenuating circumstances (flight was delayed by 1.5hrs) they let me cancel reservation.Cons: Pick up was impossible, not actually at the airport Enterprise location, would have had to uber to the site. The rental location was only open until 6pm! Due to a flight delay, did not get there in time for rental. The reservation is NON transferrable (can't move your reservation to another location), NON changeable (can't go the next day), NOT cancellable (except in circumstance above). The rental fee for an airport location is only $10-20 more per week.

Pros: The first person who assisted me was very nice and help me getting a better car for the snow so I upgraded to a 4x4 SUV my rentCons: having the car clean no with mud and dust and papers and stuff inside plus with wash fluid because at the middle of my trip from Denver to Vail I got the low wash fluid sign the first time I used it so obviously before getting to Vail I ran out of wash fluid in the middle of a snow storm which made the beginning of my trip very dangerous because of a lack of supervision from your company which delivered a car which has recently dropped at your facilities, very bad honestly.

Pros: The lady who assisted us in dropping off the car was very pleasant and I appreciated that, as it was very cold and early. The shuttle to the airport was prompt and helpful.Cons: I had reserved a car for around $200 online. When I arrived (after standing in a line for over 30 minutes) I was told that I had to have an AWD vehicle by state law. I "was lucky" and they had 1 AWD vehicle left in stock. It took my total to $755. If that is the case, why even have the other vehicles available to rent in the first place? I saw plenty of people driving non-AWD rental cars and they presumably didn't get fined. I was also urged to purchase a toll pass for $9.99/day because "I would definitely go through multiple tolls". I didn't go through one toll and had to pay $69.93 for nothing. It seems like a big scam and rip off. I hope that NO ONE is taken "advantage" of like I was again.

Pros: Nothing.Cons: They forced an unnessecary upgrade beyond a vehicle I had already reserved (Standard SUV) then attempted to provide me the same class of vehicle after a $300 up charge. After requesting a vehicle I paid double my initial cost for I waited for an hour to receive that car. It was dirty and the interior smelled but it was not worth the addition effort to resolve. I will never rent form Fox, or allow anyone I know to rent from this company ever again.

Cons: It took over 45 minutes for a shuttle to pick us up from the airport. I almost got on a shuttle for another company and was going to walk the mile in between to go get the car and then come back to pick up my husband. When the shuttle finally arrived, it was very unclean, the seats and the luggage rack falling apart. The man driving the shuttle was on the phone the whole tome and completely ignored me when I said o could lift my own bag, just ripped it out of my hands to load it. When we arrived at check in, the representative checking us in said the car we booked wasn’t available but that we could upgrade to another car if we wanted AWD. It had not been snowing recently so I didn’t see any need but she kept saying how unsafe it was to drive with just 2WD (I actually used to live in Denver and recently moved so I know what it’s like to drive here). Once we settled on a car, I told her I was declining the insurance coverage and she told me I couldn’t because my credit card did not cover collision. I told her it absolutely did cover it and looked it up on the car website. Then when we were going through all of the signatures, she had added the coverage back in there. I told her again to remove it as our card covered us for that. She kept arguing that it didn’t cover it but finally removed it. You can’t really see what you’re signing on the tiny little box they have for you to read it so she was just trying to sneak it by me. Then she insisted that it would be far cheaper to bring the car back and have them fill it with gas, that there’s way cheaper then in town. We got to our car which was completely unwashed and I cleaned inside, only to discover that the gas tank was on E. We stopped at the gas station on the way into town and later read other reviews where people received their cars on E and then were charged for a full tank when they returned them as they picked it up. Overall, this company is trying to scam you. Not worth the cheaper price.

Pros: Once able to finally talk to staff, they were very friendly and helpful.Cons: Despite having an advance reservation for a Standard size SUV, had to wait in line for 90 minutes prior to reaching the reservation counter. Staff noted that it was like that "all day every day" and it wasn't just a one time event. Apparently a "Standard" size does not mean AWD/4X4, so rental price doubled vs. my reservation amount to "ensure I receive a 4x4." I was given a compact SUV with 56,000 miles that was so dirty I had to put down the windows to see the side view mirrors to change lanes (seriously). Additionally, the inside was dirty (found old french fries on the floor board), there were two rock chips in the center of the windshield and the vehicle smelled very strongly like the prior renter had been smoking pot inside. Tried to call customer service rather than go back inside to wait another 90 minutes for another car but after 30 minutes on hold I finally gave up and dealt with the vehicle. Never again will I even consider renting from Fox.

Pros: Drop off was easy.Cons: Car was FILTHY on the outside (excuse was pipe burst and washer down) - so get a $300 power washer or take cars to washer elsewhere!!! Car was not clean on inside - dried food on passenger seat belt. We were supposed to mark where dings, dents, etc were located on the car. Impossible with the amount of grime that was on the vehicle. The windshield and headlights were so dirty that it was dangerous to drive. We immediately found a car wash so that we didn’t get dirty every time we passed the vehicle.

Cons: Car was a mess when we got it. Trash all inside it. Paid for a Range Rover. It was a nice car but messy inside of every compartment there was trash from the people before us. Especially with Covid. I would think they would be super cleaning the cars. That was a little shocking honestly. The car came with 1/3 of a tank but we were in a hurry leaving the airport. So when returning they charged me for the gas on top of what was supposed to be 800 for a week rental. Turned into closer to 1000. Pretty steep for a dirty car and the wrong fuel reading.

Pros: Very professional and kind staff. We were in and out in about 10 minutes. Dropping off was a breeze. Pulled into the lot. Left the keys in the car and got into the shuttle to Denver International Airport. Great overall experience!Cons: We booked a Jeep Grand Cherokee and got a different vehicle. The replacement vehicle was fine but I was looking forward to driving the Jeep. The exterior of the vehicle was really dirty but it was also the middle of the winter and they probably didn’t have time to wash it.

Was informed that a “premium suv” rental was a crossover size, not an actual suv so I had to upgrade my car and pay more onsite since the crossover would not fit my snowboard/skis. Pros: Easy drop offCons: The reservation was accidentally made at downtown but was supposed to be at the airport. When I arrived the agent said he would be able to switch the reservation and "take care of everything". I had to pay a little more, which was not ideal but tolerable. Three days after I picked up the vehicle I got an email from Avis saying they were going to charge me $50 "no show" fee. I called Avis helpline and it took over 1.5 hrs on the phone to correct the problem. Why I had to wait on hold for 30 min for a supervisor to fix the situation is beyond my comprehension.

I cleaned the back window at a gas station and had to roll down the side windows to see at certain times. This is unsafe and I was disappointed at this aspect.

Pros: NothingCons: The rental experience at Denver airport was terrible. The wait time to get the car was 4.5 hours. Due to long wait we could not make it our destination in time and had to pay for an extra night for hotel at the airport. Even after getting the car we found out next day that the third row seat wasn’t stretching back properly or folding up in the SUV which was a safety issue for us with 2 carseats for kids. When we told them about it the response was that they didn’t have another car due to busy weekend and couldn’t do anything. The response rate at the counter or phone is very cut and dry as well as super slow. I will never rent with Avis or any of the affiliated sister companies. I will not recommend Avis to anyone as well. With the experience we had I would expect a full refund but the way Avis runs their business I am not even expecting a response at the this point.

At drop off, there were so many cars lined up and no one was there to tell you to park it and leave it in the eternal line. Incredibly poor organization, poor operations, poor planning, poor everything. They should refund half of every person's rental cost due to the incredibly awful experience and inconvenience. I have never experienced this with other companies. I am sorry i had to give them one penny of my money.

It seemed like they would have been understaffed even without COVID workplace guidelines in place. 2/ The expectation to pick out my own vehicle from the fleet was not well explained, and there were no staff members in the lot to provide assistance. Ideally, someone would have come with me so that I knew what was appropriate behavior when choosing a vehicle. I would have chosen a different vehicle if I had a staff member for assistance. 3/ Some vehicle-specific complaints.

Pros: Vehicle was new and clean, drop-off experience was efficient if a bit under-signed/explained.Cons: Pick-up was incredibly slow due to lack of staff and a confusing setup. Signage was poor and Payless does not seem to have a strong presence at what is essentially an Avis facility. This includes the shuttle service. The Avis and Payless lines are adjacent but the Avis one moves more quickly and presents as more "official." Counter staff serve both lines but the Avis line progressed far faster. Once at the counter the rep. was very friendly and helpful. No major issues once departing the airport although given Denver in the winter with a bulk of these vehicles headed to the mounts an ice scraper would have been helpful.

There was no communication that they were co-located with Hertz to look for the Hertz bus. We were not told where the vehicle was. (it was pulled up, whch was nice, but we walked the cold, snowy lot as directed and then saw it when we came back to ask for better directions). It is terrible to take 1-1.5 hours to get on the bus and get a car after traveling for hours to get to the airport.

Pros: We received a nice car for the money we paid for the rental and the pickup and return were both easy.Cons: The tire pressure light was on when we received the car so I told the person who was helping with the pickup and he said it was probably just because it was unusually cold in Denver the weekend we were there. It never went away and was on the whole weekend so it was frustrating to be slightly worried about it the whole time. The windshield wiper fluid also ran out which make it difficult driving in snow and cold temps without it.

We also had a rock kicked back at us while being passed and when I returned vehicle I told them about the crack in windshield and they could not give me any info on fees associated with this or not. I also prepaid for a full tank but returned with about a half tank and they didnt give me the difference back on my card.

Cons: The customer service was terrible. Manager racist. Yelled and screamed at me outside and told me I couldn’t come in the building while whites were allowed to do so. I paid for an upgrade. Told me if I came back in the building while I waited a whole hour for them to clean my upgrade that he would take the extra money I paid and put me back down in the downgraded vehicle. When I reminded him I have already paid for the larger vehicle he threatened me loudly outside on the curb to cancel my contract and told me find another place to go rent a car good luck. I saw he treated another African American the same but the three white customers were able to go inside and got stellar service. Even changed vehicles three times for one. They all received their cars before me even though I was before them in line. Upon returning the vehicle the manager kept throwing paperwork at me on the desk. Unacceptable service.

So happyPros: We rented this car because our flight was canceled and we couldn't wait for the airline's next flight out (it was Saturday, next flight was Tuesday) - the airline treated us like dirt, so by the time we resigned to driving home and went to get the car we were very crabby and impatient. I booked online first and couldn't reserve a time earlier than 5pm but we got to the rental shop at around 4pm. Was pleasantly surprised when the counter guy said we could take the car right away, and even more pleased when we were offered a free upgrade from compact to SUV! Counter guy was great and got us on the road quickly, car was clean and comfortable with no issues during the trip, and there were no surprises the next day when we returned the car and paid.Cons: No comments!

There was a return shuttle ready and waiting at our 4am return.Cons: It was confusing as to which line of cars we were able to choose from as we were just sent out to the lot. It was cold and no one steered us in the right direction. I had to find someone to ask. Our initial flight was canceled and rebooked for the next day - our rate went up a lot!

No mention that US license was prohibitedPros: the carCons: I live outside the USA. I occasionally go to the US and I need to rent a car. in the past I rented through kayak and europcar without a problem. however this time when I arrived I gave the representative my drivers license - which is a US drivers license - and they told me I could not rent the car. instead I would need to rent a new one for 3 times the price. they said an international rental could not be done in the USA with a USA license. However NOWHERE WAS I EVER INFORMED OF THIS. NOWHERE IS THIS RESTRICTION LISTED IN THE AGREEMENT THAT I SIGNED WITH EUROPCAR. I was forced to spend $150 on Uber for two days, and i went to AAA with Uber and for $20 i changed my license to an international license, and went all the way back to the airport to rent my same car - having wasted two days of the rental.
