Days Inn by Wyndham Miami International Airport

Should've slept on the airport floor...

I booked this hotel at the last minute, hoping for some sleep between a late arrival and early departure flight. The price was much more than I wanted to spend, but the desire for sleep prevailed. I should have kept my money and slept at the airport. The shuttle took 30 minutes to come (even though I called and was told it had "just left"). Got to the hotel, to 2 front desk personnel, one who was on the phone so long the other registered 2 guests before he hung up. No attempt to multi-task, especially considering it was midnight and all were exhausted. When we finally got to our room, the room key did not work. Did not get into the room until 1:00 am. And then found 2 roaches in the bathroom. By then, the shuttle was no longer operating and we had nowhere to go. So kept our bags on chairs and desk, hoping to keep them bug-free. And did I mention the plastic-covered pillows that crunched when you put your head on them? Really disappointing and definitely not worth the 2-stars. Would not recommend.
