My Stay at EZ 8 Motel

First, when I went to go check in the clerk made me wait for like 10minutes while she counted her drawer. Then she received a phone call and was helping the person on the phone while I just stood there. No apologies or acknowledgement afterwards. Second, the facility sucks. Lastly, at night I went to dinner with friends when I returned there were bikers cover the entry way, there people out fighting and smoking. My friends feared for me staying there by myself so I ended staying at their airBnB. I am currently on my way back to motel to get my stuff and run out of there.

Almost all of the surfaces were sticky! Stains on the pillow cover. Noise of the adjacent highway! Noise of the 18 wheelers that park there. Homeless people around there.

What a flea bag....

The room was a complete DUMP! Ripped chair, and old rotten food in the refrigerator. I was afraid for my life, and that I would wake up and my car would be gone...

The lady at the reception desk when we checked in was fantastic, very sweet and super helpful. She is the only reason we stayed in this disgusting motel and didn't immediately go back to Flagstaff. We would have been a lot more upset and probably would have left demanding our money back had she not been so kind to us. The lady who worked the evening of March 15, 2015 deserves a raise! The lady when we checked out was also nice but was unprofessional and more concerned with what was on her phone. Overall, we did get what we paid for I suppose. The location was super convienent, it was 10 min or less away from everything we wanted to do. Just glad we only stayed for one night. I will also admit that the bbqs by the pool are a genius idea! A familiy staying there was bbq-ing up a storm and it smelt AMAZING. haha The hotel resturaunt was also actually really nice!

The room was disgusting. Utterly disgusting. Cheetos stuck to the carpet, all of the trash cans full, all the towels were damp, no toilet paper, used soaps, dirty mirrors and counter tops, smelt like dog pee, cigarette burns in the sheet/bed, beds were super questionable, pillows smelt mildewy, and only half of the outlets worked. We ended up using our clothes for pillows and ended up sleeping on top of the comforter just because we didn't want to sleep inside. The most staff seemed overworked and underpaid. The rest seemed lazy. And by internet they do not mean WiFi, they mean a tiny computer from the 80s in the lobby... That may or may not work.
