Lots of surprises....all unpleasant
The room was clean
The $25 per pet fee at a “pet friendly” hotel. We were in town for the wiener dog nationals and we had our 2 small dachshunds with us. I chose this hotel because it was pet friendly. It’s MONEY friendly, that’s for sure. My dogs weigh 12 lbs each and they stay in crates when we aren’t in the room. When I questioned the “pet friendly” notice on the website, I got a snarky reply of “We are but that doesn’t mean it’s free”. I’ve stayed in MANY pet friendly hotels and have never had to pay almost double for the room because of my dogs. My room was $76 and the pet fee was $50! My husband and I made more of a mess than our dogs did. Ok, the room... had wood laminate floors which was great but no furniture. You either sat on the bed or in a crazy office chair that nearly falls over backwards if you try to sit with your back against the backrest. the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough on Sunday morning. No breakfast just coffee and juice and the coffee condiments were minimal. Sugar only no sweetener of any kind.
Mritch
nothing at all
There was garbage outside the room down the hall excessive noise all ours house cleaning took my clothes from my room when I even made it clear I did not want room service why I was there they still went in my room front desk thought it was funny that my clothes are missing very poor hotel smak in the ghetto
King size bed
The door doesn't shut unless you slam it. The water doesn't get hot enough in the shower.
Stay away
Nice TV in the room.
I could smell cigarette smoke coming into my room. The room was filthy! No restaurants nearby, and no snake vending machine provided.
Crack house
There were a lot of drugs there a felt very unsafe. The room also smelled of mold!
worst hotel ever
nothing
not located in a safe neighborhood , the room wasnt that nice smelled bad , plus i always find ppl smoking weed outside and the smell was awful coming in the room from the AC , several times ppl were trying to come in my room to open the door from outside while its locked from the inside . i wouldn't recommend this to anyone its not worth the money to stay at plus you wont be feeling that safe while you are sleeping
new management. nice renovated rooms. cockroaches
new rooms with new vanities and tubs and toilet. new bed and mattress. our king sized bed room even had a 2 seat bar table. manual ac. tile floor
cockroaches. unswept floor.
Not too bad for an "inn"
Good location. Property looked like it was well kept up. The staff was nice.
The bathrooms need some work. Maybe some remodeling
The staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and it was in a great location, near everything .We were just minutes from Ybor City. And Casino. this seems to be more of an extended stay place. We did see a security guard nightly. The pool was nice , unfortunately I didn't get a chance to get in.
I would have liked to had a place to actual hang my clothes instead of having to lay them down on the suitcase rack.
Cheap rate at a decent place
The fact that it is located in the wrong part of town. This hotel is located in the "ghetto" and I felt like I could be robbed at any time. You literraly were in the wrong part of town, and had to cross I-4 to see the nicer side of tampa.
Cheap and clean
Wifi was weak.
That the bed seemed clean.
The front desk person accused me of stealing an iron when there was no iron in the room to begin with. He was foreign so that made the communication extremely difficult.
Frendly staff, easy access to i4 and Busch Gardens.
Weak coffee at breakfast is my only complaint.
Staff was nice and eager to help. The place was quiet (low season) although it is close to the highway, which was a good surprise. The Hotel is 3 miles away from Ybor, which is good to get out at night and offers a taxi service for those who may have a hard time driving then.
The swimming pool was clearly under our expectations. The water was so blurred that I even feared meeting face to face with a Gator...
I liked the location where I was able to travel to places.
Was not able to get Christian Channells on the TV
I liked leaving the hotel.
The neighborhood was terrible. If I was traveling alone I wouldn't feel safe.
pool closed at 10 am when it's supposed to open at 9 am. Old bed sheets
