They were not opened. They have been closed since March. I would like my money back.
Location. Friendliness of staff. Easy of parking.
The location was very good. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Complimentary coffee and the free shuttle to a few of the historic locations in Washington DC were nice touches.
The hotel needs to improve the directional signage to the parking below level of the hotel. It was very confusing with the turns and various doorways to get to the underground area.
Terrible experience and out hundreds of dollars
Nothing good to say
They canceled us (3 rooms booked) at some point late afternoon, day of our stay, moved us in bookings to an inadequate alternate location, and claimed they had tried to reach out to us to let us know. It is the week after and still no one form of communication from Capital Skyline or Kayak or other. Meanwhile we watched as they checked people in while we sat there in disbelief. Missed dinner reservation. Asked to be canceled from the chosen alternate and refunded, when they could not provide something comparable. Still, no refund. Terrible location to boot.
decent hotel but could use some updates
The hotel was in a good location to see the sights of DC. The air conditioning in the hotel could use some work. One day the air was not working at all which was uncomfortable. They did get it working again but still wasn't great. We opted to get a fan to help keep cool. The pool area was very nice and a great way to beat the heat.
air conditioning
Untidy Place to be at!
The rooms were spacious.
The room services were poor, they did not have any toothpastes to give or buy. The place was stinking through out. The parking was bloody expensive.
Enjoyed the stay
Convient, comfortable rooms w/very good service. Newly renovated and will stay again.
Ice machine was empty.
Sad little place.
Its a dude and depressing place. Not good for vacation. Use for business maybe.
We did not stay here because our reservation was n
Our reservation was not honored. We were told conflicting information between the hotel, kayak, and a 3rd party, amoma. Long story short, the hotel said we did not have a reservation (which we did and had pre-paid) and did not let us stay there.
First it took forever to check in. The employee checking everyone in was amazing and trying to keep angry customers calm but there needed to be more staff. At 11 pm it should not take 30+ minutes to check in, when I already had a reservation. He couldn't find my reservation and said they don't always see reservations when booked on other sites. Then my room was nice, but freezing! Cold air was coming out when it should have been hot. I tried to bundle up but there was only one blanket.
Friendly staff at the desk and housecleaning. Clean rooms and building. I didn't get the breakfast buffet but it looked delicious and had a lot of options. Lobby bar was nice but short staffed. Bartender was funny and knowledgable of the area.
I felt fine walking around the neighborhood. My boyfriend felt it was a little run down. Staff told me it's an "up and coming" neighborhood. I live in a city so I'm always very aware of my surroundings when walking on the street. I would recommend this to everyone, no matter the location. If looking for a restaurant, you would have to either eat at the hotel or go to a different neighborhood. Staff was friendly but checking in was slow. I think someone new was working the desk but still, very friendly and helpful.
Location, staff and views.
Hotel is not well taken care of. Broken bathtubs with cracks. Towels are very rough on the skin, it needs a little or a lot more fabric softener. No mini fridge in rooms. Loud guests in the hallways during weekend nights.
Location, staff friendliness, room size and cleanliness (beds were awesome)
Nothing
Very friendly staff; interior is a little outdated but has a special touch, nice atmosphere in the hotel. Breakfast is good and reasonably prices (12 USD). Excellent shuttle service driving you to the sites. This is a good hotel to stay when exploring Washington.
Might be a little outdated, no fridge in the room.
The price paid for my stay is realtively higher, as there are more lively cheaper hotels situated at more comfortable areas in city center. The furnitures and some of the installations in the room are older and not attracting and defective such as door secutity latches.
There is bad odour in my room. Also, the heating system does not function well, as the room is cold when the heating is desired and vice versa.
there is big difference in between my reservation and check in data. brcause of confuse of last name Park they said, but Hotel side cannot change the confirmed data, so I have to pay the other guy's bookoing payment. and too far from down town, surrounding environment is very bad, so no place to enjoy dinner or lunch.
Very nice and well decorated rooms. 10-15 minutes walk to Capitol South metro station. Clean hotel with friendly staff.
Early morning shuttle was good
Location was not the best neighborhood
neighborhood.
The Hotel location does not look very safe espeially after dark. Don't want to try walking back to the Hotel at night.
It was very difficult to find the hotel, it was not on the map, I must ask 2 taximan.
