Very friendly and helpful staff, including housekeeping. Everything else was excellent, especially for good rate we had gotten through Kayak.
The service was great.
The overall hotel was just blah. The walls are thin and the hotel is located next to a fire station and so we heard sirens all night. Our hotel room overlooked dumpsters but we weren’t expecting much more. The room overall just felt shabby and needing updates - wall paper bubbling, chipping tub tiles, etc the bed wasn’t the most comfortable either but it was good for what we needed - a place to sleep. However the parking situation was the most irritating because to park is $50 but we were told if we stayed less than 24 hours we would only be charged the hours we parked. This was not the case and still had to pay the $50 for only being parked there for 18 hours.
very nice hotel, comfy beds. Great location.
Decor was nice.
They were 2 hours late for check in and did not offer any type of reconciliation for that. When we finally got to the room I noticed the tv and dresser was a little dusty. The location is terrible, right next to a firehouse. There were loud noises of people and the fire engines at night. Also, right next to a homeless center with people just hanging out in the streets nearby. The room decor was nice but sheets felt like paper. I would not stay here again.
There was a hidden "Service Fee" $52.00 tacked on at the end. When I booked I thought I was getting the real price.
The hotel is very nice and up to date overall. FYI if you get a good deal your going to get a small room with a even smaller bathroom.
While checking in, a friend and myself was told the pool for closed for an event(it was 98 degrees )! One of the main reasons we even picked the hotel was for there rooftop pool. After getting in the room I then called the operator because the staff at the front desk seemed unsure and it was three of them. All i asked was, when was the event going to end ? We then went to the roof top for drinks and seem guest kids etc in the pool. We then asked the bartender about the event, she had no clue what we were talking about.
Breakfast was not as advertised Hyatt across the street has buffet that was way better or the West Wing Cafe across the street was more affordable
Pool not open because they didn't get the chemicals test early enough before the open time , act not working , room not clean, no tub , can't check in until 4 pm
- Great location. - Friendly staff.
- Gym doesn't seem to be well maintained. - Noisy.
The room was a little bit too much in regards to modern art deco. There was no two lamp that was the same. Parking cost $48 overnight,
Not recommended unless you are looking for a heada
We enjoyed our stay at the Washington court hotel after the liaison did not have a room for us.
We arrived at the liaison at 12 am hoping to get into our room quickly and get some rest. We waited in line for at least 30 minutes to check in, as other guests appeared to be having issues with check in. After finally reaching the check in desk, we were told that the room we had reserved was not available. The only available room had no bed, just a pull out couch that could only sleep one person. This situation was the same for another 5-6 parties attempting to check in after us. We were given the option of staying at another hotel down the street and switching back to the liaison for the second night of our stay. We decided to cancel our liaison reservation and stay at the other hotel for both nights. The entire situation was handled in a very unprofessional manor, adding stress and confusion to what we hoped to be a relaxing weekend.
You pay for what you get
The location was good. The decor was nice and what you would expect from a 4star hotel.
They tried to charge us for umbrellas that were returned to the front desk. When I returned the umbrellas to the front desk, the lady was very rude for no reason. Two of the elevators were out of service and the other two seemed as if they would break soon. It was scary everytime getting into the elevator because it would shake and make a noise. Twice the door didn't close all the way completely, leaving a small crack, and the elevator would not move. I highly doubt I would stay here again because of the lady I dealt with that was rude and tried to charge me for umbrellas that were returned.
Location very close to both Union Station and Capitol Hill, nice furnished and spacious rooms, free wifi in lobby.
Breakfast not included.
The comfort of the room was fantastic, especially compared to the price we paid. The breakfast we had at the Art & Soul was tremendous... And the Concierge was very professional when we asked for information about sightseeing and dining in DC, unfortunately I don't remember his name! All in all a wonderful stay!
the location is perfect, next to union station and close to the museums
The best feature of the hotel was the convenient location. Staff were friendly and helpful.
location, clean and nice room, good room service
some personell, lack of polintess and manners, not attentive and not accurate. Not welcoming.
The bed was very comfortable; room very clean and attractive.
Our hotelwas on the tenth floor just below the fitness room. We were wken up at around 6 am for four days due to the noise of someone uisng the facilitities. We would recommend this hotel to others with the caveat to do so only if the room is on a lower floor.
The restaurant was under renovation and the breakfast was okay with no table to sit. I deplore this but I understand in a sens but they could do better to accomodate the guest to sit. I will still recommand the Hotel
The bed was extremely comfortable. It was very quiet. I didn't hear much noise inthe hall and nothing from adjoining rooms.
Location, but there was no many restaurants around there, so we all went to Hilton, but the dinner on 11th Fl at Hilton was terrible.
The room was small, and bathroom was stuck all the time, so the next person had to shower in the full of water of bath tub.
Roof top pool, stylish room and great location.
Breakfast was modest considering its price.
