Cons: "The Frontier workers at the Atlanta airport were highly unprofessional. My flight was delayed but there was no announcement made until everyone was already questioning why we weren't boarding. The worker told me 3 different times for our new flight time and when I asked him why there was confusion he told me to check the website because I could look up the time just like he could. So much confusion. I saw people miss their flight before mine because boarding wasn't announced."
Pros: "Very short flight. We got in 1/2 hour earlier than expected. Seats were comfotable. Boarded quickly. Smooth & quiet flight. Price for the flight was cheap."
Cons: "During the boarding they went too fast between sections. They did not give us enough time between calling Zone 1 until calling the rest of the plane to board (less than a minute). A whole bunch of people jumped in front of us as we were almost to the desk/gate. There were no drinks or food on the plane & no one asked if we needed anything. Had to pay extra to choose a seat & bags."
Cons: "Three delays but they got us home."
Pros: "Frontier was by far the lowest priced ticket, even after adding a checked bag. Flight was delayed, but we were informed at check-in and confirmed at the gate. Good crew, no complaints."
Cons: "I wish Frontier was in more airports."
Pros: "I loved the room on the Palme I was surprised cause on the way to Atlanta there was no room at all"
Cons: "I didn't like that I had to pay for a carry on"
Pros: "nice ppl"
Cons: "Big delay no good"
Pros: "My flight was cancelled at the last minute. The customer service needs work. Only one representative was sensitive to our cancellation of our flight. This cancellation effected my budget for my vacation. I hope that my refund will be sent promptly."
Cons: "First time flying with frontier, and last time flying with frontier. For some unexpected reason my flight was cancelled to Florida, needless to say it has the best weather in the country right now. I was on hold for 2 hours trying to get through to a customer service representative and no one answered. I did not get a comped hotel night and not even a meal! Worst airline I've had to deal with when it comes to customer service, will not be flying frontier again."
Cons: "Leg room wasn't great for my height"
Pros: "The seat"
Cons: "The price"
Pros: "Not good situation"
Cons: "The plane never came. Left us sitting till 1:55 a m"
Pros: "everything was great"
Pros: "The flight attendants were very attentive. I've never flew before so I think this was a good flight experience"
Cons: "How close the seats were"
Pros: "They clearly explain you may only bring a backpack, so this airline is for young low maintenance people taking a short flight from the weekend or something. Anyone complaining about baggage fees is irrelevant because they explain to you 25+ times about buying carryon luggage separately if you need it. Even when printing out a boarding pass they reming you again, its impossible to miss the warnings if you are literate, yet I still see people at the gate acting clueless when they are asked to pay for their carry-on, stupidity or rushing is not the airlines fault. Now why do I think this air line is better than JetBlue? They are 1000000x less harassing. someone needs to buy JetBlue flight attendants a sudoku book or something so on the early morning or late night flights they don't have to keep harping on the intercom every 3 seconds and waking you up. Frontier turns out the lights for the majority of the flight and the intercoms are quiet and you can actually sleep on their planes unlike any terrible JetBlue flight. If you travel often as I do, this is so important to me and I would never book JetBlue again for how aggravating they are. Even frontiers online booking process is simpler."
Cons: "Seats don't adjust."
Pros: "Price - though luggage fees add up"
Cons: "Spent over 1hour delayed inside airplane due to malfunctions of plane, waiting on a fix."
Pros: "The base price was insanely inexpensive. Thank goodness it was only an hour flight."
Cons: "Did not assign my Lady and I together... several rows apart. Seats are ridiculously uncomfortable."
Pros: "The speed and leg room."
Pros: "I liked that it was on time and it was a short flight to Orlando from ATL. Any longer and I may have considered jumping out the plane."
Cons: "I didn't know that they were going to charge me $30 each way for CARRY-ON!!! They wanted extra money just to put your party together. I was flying by myself so I didn't care, but they wanted 25/seat to sit in the middle of the plane per person. I have a family of 7 (5 kids 8 and under) and had we been flying together that would have been a surprise round trip expense of $250 for seats and probably $400-500 in baggage. I would have been very upset. You pay for soft/juice drinks and small snacks. The 'free' water I asked for/received didn't have ice. I assume that was extra, but I wouldn't know b/c the lady who gave it to me was off before I could even ask. I was starting to think they were going to make me pay for a seat belt. I have recently booked another flight to Arizona on frontier before I left on this one and I am already dreading that flight. I will not be going on Frontier again nor recommend it to anyone else."
Cons: "Flight delayed with no email communication or on site staff communication found out from another passenger. No one from the airlines showed up to tell us. Gate changed 2 different times , again I found this out through a 3rd party. Even "first class" seats are packed like sardines, zero leg room and I am short at 5'4". My nefew also flew on this airlines a month prior and had a similar experience with the gate changes and delayed flight, but his flight was then actucally cancelled and he found out when he got to the airport, again with no prior communication from the airlines, he was told it was a "Staffing issue" . The airlines would not reimburse him his travel time or offer a hotel room since the next flight was not until the next morning. Needless to say I will never fly this airlines again, it was my first and last time using them."
Pros: "Timeliness, cleanliness, low fare"
Cons: "Slight delay (15 mins) returning from Atlanta, no water offerred onboard"
Pros: "Pretty quick"
Cons: "The delay"
Pros: "since the flight was a short one the seats felt like more room since not so padded."
Cons: "They charge for everything. NOTHING was offered for free that I could remember."
Pros: "Felt like u were in a sardine can !"
Pros: "Crew was good."
Cons: "Not apples to apples fare comparison - Kayak & other search sites should have necessary alerts when these fares are shown Requires to purchase a seat while checking in online ! Additional fee for carry on bag ! Flight delayed by 2.45 but no flexibility to change flights from Frontier. I missed my meeting and had no reason to fly that day. Frontier would not change me to the next day."
Pros: "The plane seem fairly new and the boarding was fairly smooth. The crew was calm and even patient from my perspective, considering they were handling mad costumers after a 3&1/2 hour delay on christmast day. I saw good will on this flight from the crew. Remember when the pilots use to show you the cockpit? Well this pilot did to a kid as he entered the plane. The kid and his father were very happy, expeessing how cool is was as they continue to board. That, was a nice gesture and resulted in relaxing some people! The flight was fairly quick once we were in the air. Tha been said. This flight did t allow for me to rate entertaiment and food since it was too short for the crew to set that up."
Cons: "Well obviously the massive delayed! I, like many arrived at the airport with enough hours ahead to take this flight so say 6-7am only to sit around until 12:00pm in order to depart. That alone is a fairly black mark. In addition, the gate kept been moving around. Of course there are other planes to arrive and that needs to be understood but the constant changing and moving to distant gates was a bit tough on some of us."
Pros: "The fare was reasonable. The flight was on time. Boarding was quick. The seats were ridiculously uncomfortable and would not recline. So small. Baggage policy is impossible. For passengers who did not check the website before the flight it was a surprise to be hit with a carry on baggage fee. The airline is only good for extremely short trips when you don't have to bring anything but a change of underwear."
Pros: "Had a great fight all around. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lines moved efficiently."
Pros: "I liked that it was cheap, mainly because I was only there for a day and didn't have to pay for luggage. The staff seemed ok and everything else was normal."
Cons: "I didn't like how they basically charge for every single thing. They charge for checked bags, carry ons, the seat selection, and any kid of food or drink that's not water."
Cons: "All the hidden fees"
Cons: "Checking in on line was impossible"
Cons: "Baggage claim too to long and it was the worst"
Pros: "Crew was pretty nice."
Cons: "We were on the same plane from Seatac, WA to Detroit to Atlanta, to Orlando, so no longer than 15 minute layovers. This meant no time to eat at airports and no time to charge devices. Since there was no in flight movie and nowhere to plug in anything on the plane, my son was extremely bored and it was stressful for me to keep him busy for 10 hours! On top of that, there were no in flight snacks and the food was overpriced."
Cons: "EVERYTHING. To mention a few, they charged me $59 for the carry on bag. Also, they charged $20 for the seat."
Pros: "The fact I eventually got to Orlando."
Cons: "The plane was delayed six times! We were supposed to arrive at 11 an instead got in at 2 in the morning! The air conditioning on the plane was broken! The pilots were late, and the gate agents were not forthcoming with information. They were very rude, and I understand they are stressed, but so were the passengers who were looking at the only option being cancelled flights and missed opportunities!"
Cons: "That 14 people were closed out at the gate when TSA had issues, but the plane stayed at the gate additional 15 minutes. No refunds for this?? $57 to CARRY ON MY OWN BAG???"
Cons: "Over the top baggage fee, unfriendly staff"
Pros: "Customer service"
Cons: "Chair no comfort, plane sells like old gym socks. Too crowded. Pay for everything. Upgrade plane please"
Cons: "The plane was over two hours late taking off due to computer problems, and they would not give the passengers even so much as water while we sat on the plane for hours waiting to take off. They could have at least given us water and thrown us a couple pretzels, but nothing. This is as low budget as it gets!"
Cons: "The idea of being charged $9-10 dollars if you don't pre ck in but rather ck in at the airport is absurd! The $9.00 Club which actually costs $59.00 is mis representation and misleading. A $45. Fee to carry my own carry on is ridiculous! My $140. Cheap fare ended up costing $285. Dealing with Spirit Airlines was frustrating from beginning to end. I will not fly with your company again. I fly frequently for business."
Cons: "As if the fact that our flight was delayed for two hours wasn't enough. The crew was rude and less than understanding. I could only watch annoyed and disgusted as a pregnant woman stood with her more than grumpy child on her hip for more than 20 minutes after asking for her stroller. Then only to be threatened by spirit airlines staff that if concerns and anger were voice to flight attendants you would be thrown off the flight. Honestly spirit airlines are the worst excuse for an airline and will never see another penny from me. You might as well save the money that you would pay their ridiculous baggage fees and put it towards flying on a reputable airline."
Cons: "To much money for your bags"
Pros: "Flight cancelled. Only options are refund or wait four days for the next available seat. No assistance with accommodations, rentals or alternate airlines. Was left completely stranded. Horrible ordeal. Never again Spirit. Spirit has no spirit."
Pros: "Good people working, all seemed nice. Even if some of the experience is less than spectacle, you know what to expect on spirit."
Cons: "Boarding: can't check in online early, if you are going to assign seats then why use zones, either board from the back of the plane by row or go by zones, but it's silly to have a seat number and still deal with zones. Can't pick a seat without paying, that's just silly. Block off the seats that need to have an upcharge and then let people pick seats if they want, it just keeps people happier and costs you nothing. Other: you should not ask about food or entertainment since the food on the plane costs money and most people don't purchase it, especially on short trips like this one. And there is no entertainment available, so asking me to rate it is pointless (plus if there was entertainment, I'm sure that would just be another purchase item). Seats: are mediocre at best"
Cons: "Had to pay for snacks where I could have had free on other airlines."
Pros: "I asked the rep that i had to cancell my ticket due to unavoidable situations but what a pitty they refused rudely saying i will get nothing back.... Totally unsatisfied customer P. S. why is there one star option? I want something lower tgan that"
Cons: "I asked the rep that i had to cancell my ticket due to unavoidable situations but what a pitty they refused rudely saying i will get nothing back.... Totally unsatisfied customer P. S. why is there one star option? I want something lower tgan that"
Cons: "I fly Spirit because its cheap if you dont check luggage. I've never departed on time. My return flight was "cancelled per my request" the day before boarding. Spent an hour explaining over the phone to poorly trained customer service reps that i did not request that change. I am currently sitting at the gate to board at 5:32 for this same flight that was scheduled to depart around noon.. Delayed twice. Got a $50 voucher if any reader wants it because I will never use this airline again."
Pros: "Nothing at all"
Cons: "Flight was delayed 5.5 hours!!"
Cons: "$40 bag check seems a little excessive"
Pros: "The price"
Cons: "Crammed in the seat"
Pros: "Military appreciation"
Cons: "The fact that I have to pay outragous amount for my luggage and extra for every LBs. It sucks and I will not be using this airline again"
Pros: "The big seats"
Cons: "Had to pay for everything even water"
Cons: "terrible service and grumpy employee. the information contained on the site was different from the booth. I ended up paying more in baggage on flights. I never travel by Spirit."
Pros: "Smooth transition from check in to landing"
Cons: "There was no refreshment served"
Pros: "I thought it was fine for the price I paid. keep up the good work"
Pros: "The basic needs of the patrons were met and there were no incidents to worry us. So, thank you!"
Cons: "From all the hidden fees to the incredibly rude employees to the lack of organization etc etc I could go on and off but just the fact that I booked it through you guys whom I've respected in the past gave me a bad taste in my mouth about kayak. I strongly suggest you remove such a mediocre airline from your great service."
Pros: "I was able to get to my destination."
Cons: "This airline has low prices but you pay for it when it comes to baggage fees and that doesn't make sense. They also don't have a scanner for your phone. Spirit needs upgrades immediately."
Cons: "Many delays with no info."
Pros: "Someone was in my seat and had to wait till one minute before take off"
Pros: "I arrived home safely."
Cons: "What started as a short delay and being told we'd be boarding 10 minutes after the last person had gotten off the plane, turned into an hour of waiting for no clear reason. Luggage had been loaded and the plane was cleaned 40 minutes before we finally got on. Didn't help attendants couldn't be bothered to smile or even be polite. Spirit is the bus of flying."
Pros: "cheap, convenient."
Cons: "I got lucky on the seat selection. I didn't realize you had to pay extra for carry ons or to guarantee where you sat. Short flights but no complimentary snacks or at least water? RT would have been normal fare."
Pros: "The crew was friendly."
Cons: "The seats were not comfortable."
Pros: "I got to my destination"
Pros: "No delays, enough leg room"
Cons: "Terrible..will never ever fly spirit"
Pros: "I arrived at my destination"
Cons: "lots of hidden fees...many which are not reasonable such as $50 charge for a laptop bag"
Pros: "The flight crew was very cordial! The flight was smooth and ahead of schedule! Great flight !"
Cons: "Where was the lasagna? The meatballs? Lol... Nothing/ it was a great flight"
Pros: "On time departure and arrival."
Cons: "Stripped down, tightly-packed cabin."
Pros: "-on time -great staff with humor -comfortable seats -not crowded -didn't feel like I was in a cattle call -assigned seats, and if you aren't picky on your seat, it's FREE. I got a great isle seat. -if you want food-they have it-you pay for it -you only pay extra for what you need-not everyone else's magazine to read!"
Pros: "Services and on time"
Pros: "On time leaving"
