The boarding staff stood over me and told me to throw stuff away in my backpack and asked why I had packed certain things. I am in the process of moving back to the US from Korea after two years so everything I had was everything I owned in the world - which included some sentimental things like a stuffed animal from my mother who passed away when I was three years old. The most infuriating part of this however was realizing that there was one other bag in my overhead bin. In fact most of the overhead bins had one to two bags and plenty of room. My repacking and humiliation was unnecessary and it was only for the morbid satisfaction of the lady at boarding demanding it. At one point I heard her talking with her coworkers about “why couldn’t they freaking listen. We announced it three times.” Well I had approached the counter prior to arrival and they told me to get back in line when I tried to ask about my purse and backpack. In additional to the frustration of all of that, I received my checked in luggage with a wheel missing. I had just bought it and now I have to ship a wheel from the vendor in South Korea or buy new luggage. Thank you guys so much for letting me know which airline to never fly with again."

Additionally, when they did not stop drinking their own alcohol after the flight attendants asked all passengers to refrain from doing so due to FAA regulations, nobody asked them specifically to stop. Gate change was not well-communicated, and no audible boarding announcements were made. The gate attendants failed to put any information about the flight or boarding on the gate screen intended for this purpose."

Instead a got the screw job TWICE. I understand that it is not in their control of the pilot strike. But good service would disclose that information as to not cause additional problems. Spirit sucks. Everyone knows that. But they don't have to screw people over and more then already do"

Never ever will I choose Spirit in the interest of saving a couple of bucks. Not. Worth. It."

The flight attendant told us we could switch after the seat belt sign came off, but after that we were told no and one of them was not very polite. Terrible. Hope not to fly with spirit airlines ever again!! I dont want to talk about the baggage also, those people only know how to be rude and don't explain anything!"

Cons: "Too many hidden fees! I didn't know I had to pay for my carry-on. The flight was at 6:20am, so I had to pay for a Super Shuttle, since the Metro wasn't open yet. I should have just flown the slightly more expensive United flight, since they ended up costing the same in the end. Then, the flight attendants were unfriendly, like old school principals. My seat didn't recline AND was tiny. NO entertainment whatsoever - not even a magazine. And while I didn't mind (so much) the lack of in-flight beverage service, the fact that Spirit sells Oodles of Noodes - that's right, OODLES OF NOODLES - on the flight (and for $3.50!) was simply too much. I'll never fly Spirit again. Never."
