Cons: "Denver airport was a nightmare with my disabled father. We were given a “wheelchair” but no escort through a nightmarish security scene. Airport is terribly designed, lacking clear signage and navigation. TSA was a disaster and no one seemed remotely concerned about my father’s comfort or needs."

Cons: "Seats that worked"

Pros: "I lucked out and was able to get a emergency row seat which helped tremendously because of having long legs."
Cons: "What I don't like is what is true of all airlines now and that is that if you are born with long legs you are penalized and expected to pay more money than people with short legs - that is prejudice and not fair to people that cannot do anything about it. I understand charging obese people extra because they have a chance to change it. Also, seats are too narrow now!!!"
Pros: "Wi fi did not work."
Cons: "Sitting on the runway after landing because the gate is occupied."
Pros: "They were on time"
Cons: "The A321 had the most cramped seating I've ever experienced. The video in the seat back didn't work properly going or coming back. Boarding was slow. I don't know why they don't load the rear seats first so you don't have to wait for everyone ahead to secure their carry-on luggage. If they didn't charge so much for checking a bag there wouldn't be so much carry-on baggage"
Cons: "Took my bag for no reason, I flew there with it."
Pros: "No surveys"
Cons: "No surveys"
Pros: "El problema es que el vuelo estaba sobrevendido y han cerrado las puertas antes con lo cual me he quedado abajo sin pode abordar. Cons: "Spend the extra money to get treated like a human. The savings aren't even that great after they nickel and dime you for literally everything. You save pennies to have the worst flying experience of your life."
Cons: "Ridiculous unbundled pricing. They charge for aisle seats. We paid $19 each for seats that were NOT the ones with extra leg room. They charge $40 for carry-on items. The attendant never asked us if we wanted anything to drink. When we requested something, she had to have a more senior attendant come tell us that only water is free. Soda is $2. A couple traveling with us bought the trail mix, which was incredibly stale. He asked for water, which he never received. Fly Frontier only if there are absolutely no alternatives."
Pros: "Smooth check in and friendly staff"
Cons: "Cannot recline the seats"
Pros: "The flight was quicker than expected"
Cons: "There was a few bugs crawling in the seat in front of me onto my food tray"
Pros: "Bigger plan. Not over booked"
Cons: "Price of food"
Cons: "No food"
Pros: "Unable to check in on line (as is recommended). Customer service would not allow callin check in. Check in machine at airport would not allow checkin. Counter person unable to process checkin, initially. At first denied I had a seat. Later found my seat. Seats were beyond comfortable. No room, if instructed to lower head for impact (anticipate law suite)."
Cons: "Long lines to check in. 1 hour wait at terminal while bags were being put on board. Uncomfortable seats that don't recline. Uncomfortable drop down table. No compensation for delay or wait at terminal in plane. Stewards attitudes. Just an overall unpleasant experience."
Pros: "Everyone was helpful"
Cons: "All of the additional fees were not disclosed ! Seating, carry-on baggage, food, etc."
Cons: "On both flights, the for sale snack options were poorly stocked... no menu cards in my row, when I asked for one (because they told us to chose before they got to us).... they brought me one that was torn and falling apart Most folks around me were surprised they couldn't get water or coffee without paying extra."
Pros: "Perfect landing"
Cons: "No wifi"
Pros: "Clean and good service"
Cons: "had to pay for things that were normally free on other airlines."
Pros: "it's not delay"
Cons: "No carry-on package allow with the price, it charges additionally $30/trip. Not good booking experience, the website was keep asking to add any additional charge to the fare. My total fare is totally different from what it's mentioned before because I have to add my bag and everything. The plane itself is not that clean, narrow leg room."
Pros: "While the planes were kind of old feeling, the pilots were top notch - giving us some of the smoothest landings I've experienced. :-)"
Cons: "Dinky tray tables. On-board staff was average."
Pros: "Happy energetic voice of pilot"
Cons: "Plane left an hour late."
Pros: "The plane was comfortable. Staff was friendly"
Cons: "There were significant delays without any notification whatsoever. If I hadn't looked on the website repeatedly I would not know of the changing departure times. No apologies or explanations were given while we all waited more than two hours."
Cons: "Delay after delay after delay"
Cons: "I've only experienced a lower-frills airline in Russia. Pay extra for soda, crackers. Thin padding on seats. Stewardess had "exciting news" for us all, proceeded to try and sell us a credit card for 7 minutes. Once the $40 extra per carry-on (not clearly indicated at purchase) is added in, you can fly a first-world airline for the same price and get a Coke. Never again, obvo."
Pros: "Good Fly, nice atention and good landing"
Cons: "the seats do not recline"
Cons: "Long delay in Denver boarding, due to, we were told, plane coming from Cancun, immigration delay, and weights and balances mechanism malfunction."
Cons: "I didn't like having to pay extra for my seat on both flights, pay for my carry on that didn't fit in your overhead compartment, and pay for my only carry on, a backpack. I paid for my flight, that should be the price of my seat and the things I need to travel. I pack light and I still had to pay an extra $100 on the day of my flight. VERY dissatisfied."
Cons: "Slow service after being 2 hours behind schedule."
Pros: "Price is comfortable"
Cons: "Seats are uncomfortable"
Cons: "Lost my bag, enough said"
Pros: "I liked who I sat next to."
Cons: "We had to pay for our carry on, our phones wouldn't scan for the ticket, lines were long, I had to run all the way back to print our tickets out, women working outside of the gate were so rude, no tv, thin and uncomfortable seats, just overall disappointing."
Pros: "Nothing I got stuck at Denver airport for 23 hours. From 11pm until 10pm the next night was when they offered me to fly back home."
Cons: "Really no care for the passengers."
Cons: "Size of tray table, no entertainment, no wifi, literally just sit uncomfortably and stare straight ahead. Man I used to love frontier but y'all are terrible now."
Pros: "The crew"
Cons: "The "new" seats are uncomfortable, cramped leg room, having to "buy" your seat and no complimentary soda or small pack of nuts (or pretzels). You pay a lot of $ for not even getting any of that. :("
Pros: "Check in was done quickly"
Cons: "Same as above"
Cons: "I do not travel alot and some of this was a disappointment. Making our plane reservation was easy. Then we went to pick our seat assignments. What a surprise when we had to pay more money to just choose our seats. This is a complete rip off for travelers. You already pay to much just to fly and then you pay additional money for seats? And then you pay more money to have a carry on bag. We put this bag under our seat, we carried this bag ourselves, no one from the airline touched this bag, another rip off. I have heard the airlines are not doing great, now I know why. You can include my entire name if you want. Jim Prueter"
Cons: "You pay for what you get, so if you pay cheap you get cheap. This airline has all of these little nickel and dime charges for everything. No complimentary drinks, $2 for a soda ridiculous! $40 carry on bag, $15-$35 seat selection, more ridiculous. And the seats are horribly uncomfortable, hard as rock and don't recline. Like some cheap school bus seats! Babies and kids screaming and crying! As much as it cost for all of the BS nickel and dime charges, you might as well pay the price to fly a better my comfortable airlines. With all of the charges it comes out to the about the same in the end!"
Pros: "Once I found out I have to for everything from carry on to water there was nothing to like about booking on Frontier."
Cons: "Was not aware they charge $40 per bag for a carry-on until we got to the ticket counter. The seats were very uncomfortable and I was very surprised you need to pay for drinks, which on any other airline would be complementary. Overall, very dissatisfied."
Pros: "overall it was good."
Cons: "I HATE the bag fees"
Pros: "Cheap if you have baggage."
Cons: "Cheap. No included snacks or drinks. No real tray table. Seats don't recline. Have to pay for all bags."
Pros: "Great company, good service, no complaints"
Cons: "You have to pay for food"
Cons: "Baggage fees were ridiculous and the seats were very uncomfortable. Take off and landings were very rough."
Pros: "Very nice crew. Smooth boarding - quick and efficient."
Cons: "Seats very uncomfortable."
Pros: "Everything!!! Super impressed!"
Cons: "That I had to leave the amazing experience and go on vacation. :("
Pros: "The gate attendant was super helpful and changed my seat to one closer to the front because I needed off the plain quickly for business. Te flight crew were personal and engaging, and made the trip lighter and fun (even). Well done crew!"
Cons: "The great price and then a la carte everything else is frustrating, but if you fly Spirit, you know what you're getting. The baggage fee for a carry on was too high in my opinion."
Pros: "Flights were timely"
Cons: "Air conditioning had low flow and wasn't very cold."
Pros: "Flights are on time, clean and basic"
Cons: "No carry on bag, so fly light"
Cons: "Little fees"
Cons: "The checked baggage...$84. REALLY? That will make me rethink my future travel plans...with other airlines."
Cons: "Worst policies of any company I've ever flown with and I will never fly with them again."
Pros: "Price and Spirit employees."
Cons: "Being a sardine, and getting nickle and dined."
Cons: "Not enough leg room, seats need more cushioning."
Cons: "Canceled my flight last minute, didn't notify me at all."
Cons: "I missed my flight and my tickets were unrefundable and my bag went to San Diego. I still have not received my bag"
Pros: "I will never fly with them again."
Cons: "Customer service was aweful. Women at the front would not allow my ticket to be printed however I was already checked into my flight. They are crooks trying to squeeze money out of their travelers. If this isn't taken care I will no longer purchase from kayak either. I have been a long standing customer of yours. It's the only app I use to purchase tickets. I am now missing work and was forced to pay 100$ to get a later flight. Very disappointed."
Pros: "The cost of the trip was very low - with all the frills removed, air travel can be relatively cheap. Plan ahead - you will not be able to use TSA Pre-Check, you will have to pay extra to carry on a bag (so buy your bag online at the airline's website before you go to the airport - this is the cheapest way to do it as they charge you more to purchase the carry-on at the check-in counter and even more if you wait until the boarding gate), and you will have to pay for all beverages including water and provide your own in-flight entertainment. If you plan ahead and know what you're getting into, flying Spirit can be a pleasant experience. The flight staff is friendly and polite."
Cons: "The seats are very close together - don't expect to have any leg room - and they do not recline. Bring a neck pillow if you have any intention of sleeping."
Cons: "I was told I was too late and missed my flight only to find an email from spirit the day after saying my flight was delayed an hour and 15 mins. I could have made it but the lady that "helped" me told me there was nothing I could do. She basically turned me away, along with the 15 or so people who had the same issue ahead of me in line, and advised me to find my own way home on a different airline. I ended up paying $345 to make it back to San Diego and received no help from spirit. Best part: I paid for insurance on my ticket just in case something like this happened. I've never been so dissatisfied with an airline and will NEVER fly spirit again!!"
Pros: "It was actually probably the best flight ive ever been on. Im usually really afraid to fly but the takeoff and landing were so smooth. No anxiety at all. All the crew was so nice and everything was comfortable."
Cons: "There wasn't really anything i didn't like. Every little thing cost money but i knew that going in so it wasn't a surprise."
Pros: "The lady at the desk at the gate was very polite and understanding."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed, and delayed, and delayed while the airline told us it would be boarding "momentarily" and "shortly". The maintenance issue could have been easily solved by doing proper post flight checks, as our flight was supposed to be the first to leave in the morning and the issue with the plane had been there since the night before. They offered us $50 vouchers for use with Spirit Airlines, which won't be terribly useful since we won't be flying with them again. They refused to even try to credit my card with the voucher amount to pay for 400 miles worth of gas and parking to get to and from the airport. The real disappointment with Spirit Airlines is in their ability to perform maintenance properly and their customer service representatives' lack of professionalism."
Cons: "Smaller than usual seat space"
Pros: ",I like that you didn't pay attention that my seatbelt was not attached and I didn't have to argue with him about it"
Cons: "everything else"
Cons: "Being delayed 5 hours and the stewardesses demeanor."
Pros: "Assigned seats"
Cons: "Paying for carry on, customer service was horrible."
Pros: "The planes are new so there's that."
Cons: "The flight was delayed 3 hours due to leaky breaks and they didn't have the air on so we all sweat to death until someone decided to flip the ac switch 2 hours in. The tickets are so cheap cause you have to pay for eeeeeeeeeeeverything! You have to pay for a carry-on, a drink, to have the service desk check you in, etc. I'm surprised they don't have a coin-lock on the bathrooms or individual oxygen masks that they charge you for."
Pros: "Flight was on time and people were friendly"
Cons: "I didn't have any leg room"
Pros: "A lot of people give Spirit a bad rap. READ THE WEBSITE and you won't be disappointed."
Cons: "Boarding, food? that's funny!"
Pros: "On time"
Pros: "The price."
Cons: "They charge 65 bucks (roughly exchanges at the dollar value) for 2nd carry on which is ridiculous. My boyfriend and I had to wear all of our clothes to eliminate that 2nd carry on bag."
Pros: "On time. Prompt service. Easy kiosk check in experience. Price is right without bags."
Cons: "No TSA precheck. Seats are pretty uncomfortable after 2 hours. Have to pay for larger carry-ons."
Cons: "Wasn't allowed to board flight. Lost ticket in taxi and when I tried to reprint at the kiosk, they said that because I was "checking in" less than 45 minutes before my flight that I would be bumped to a flight the next day. Had to buy a flight with a different airline."
Pros: "The crew was friendly, refreshingly casual, and very accommodating."
Cons: "The flight was delayed over an hour. After the agent at the gate told us we could go grab a bite to eat because of the delay we came back and they had boarded the airplane and wouldn't let us on our flight. Never flying Spirit airlines again."
Pros: "nice crew. cheap tickets"
Cons: "On both my flights the departure was delayed atleast an hour without any of us knowing why. It wasnt even mentioned that it was delayed until after the stated departure time. really uncomfortable seats without and reclining or head rest adjusters. i guess you get what you pay for though"
Cons: "$55.00 for a second carry on is too expensive , it should be $25.00."
Cons: "flimsy tight seats, no bargain if you you have a bag (who travels without at least a carry-on?)"
Pros: "Cheap fare and the flight went just fine. On time and no problems."
Cons: "Seats were a bit narrow and cushion wasn't something I'd want to spend more than 3 hrs or so in, but I get the concept of the bare bones service. $40 for a checked bag is too high. I don't mind $25-$30, but $40 is a bit much."
Cons: "first flight had over a hour delay, returning flight had even longer delay due to sharing a terminal"
Pros: "The flight was very smooth, and the flight attendants were awesome."
Cons: "Everything was nearly perfect I just never give five stars"
Pros: "not much"
Cons: "Denver has a blizzard the night before. Let's assume, it's going to remain a cold night after the snow stops. If your flight leaves at 710 am, you might think there would be ice and frozen things on the plane that might need to be addressed before the flight can depart. at 730 they come out and say "the plane's engines are frozen, sorry" Why was no one there earlier prepping the engines? There was NO indication by the crew that any prep happened before. They gave us the impression that they were as "shocked" as we were. I would have assumed that it would have been an issue for all the airlines, but the American flight that was at the gate next to us took off on time, as did the other plane next to us. This is clearly a Spirit airline issue. I somehow made it to denver international airport on time, against all odds. I was going to be able to make my meeting in San Diego on time, but then the ONE thing that's supposed to go off without a hitch (the airplane being ready to go) didn't. All because of clear lack of preparation after a storm. Never again spirit airlines. EVER."
Cons: "Cancelled fligjt 2 options 1, take $44 refund on unused flight portion and figure how to get back to San Diego or 2, rebook flight 3 days later wtf??????"
Pros: "The flight was delayed for a while because of weather, it was a nice flight."
Pros: "Low flight cost Flight was on time"
Cons: "$55 baggage fee Small cramped seating"
Pros: "Great flight"
Cons: "Weight restrictions are to restrict only 40 lbs other airlines 50 lbs"
Cons: "Smallest most uncomfortable seat and row I've ever been on. Chair recliner was broke too."
Pros: "I bought my tickets for $78 a piece. I was able to sit up front in the larger seats both ways with on extra cost."
Cons: "You had to pay for everything even water. Bags cost too much so I only brought a personal item with me. There was no TV. The flight was really loud."
Pros: "The staff were very friendly and the flight was on time."
Cons: "Having to pay for carry ons and food including water and/or coffee. I can get cheap flights from other airlines who offer free carry ons and complimentary drinks/snacks. The seats are terribly uncomfortable with holes in them"
Pros: "Price, on time, friendly"
Pros: "Cheap fast."
Pros: "They were very accommodating to me and my service dog, the crew was also very nice."
Cons: "The unexpected charges, the seating is way to tight. If I did not have a hole row to myself it would have been a very uncomfortable ride for myself and my service dog."
Pros: "the de~icing on then plane wings scared the %*@* out of me. but I'm from Calif, never saw that b4. and thanks for bringing me home safe."
Cons: "I didn't like the fact that I had no warning of the $50 to check bags, or $55 if you take them on the plane. Thank god I had exactly $50 left to my name when I boarded the plane. so in the end it was still $100 one way flight. Next time I'll fly southwest"
