Cons: "The lack of space on such a long flight was painful, and there wasn't much opportunity to stretch my legs. I was also seated across from a woman who didn't realize how stupid it was to bring a toddler on a 12 hour flight, and he screamed pretty much the entire time. I couldn't sleep at all and not even headphones drowned it out. That part wasn't really the airline's fault though, and I could see that the flight attendants were asking her several times to get her son to quiet down. I just wish there were regulations on these sorts of situations. Everyone around you suffers when you bring a small child on a very long flight because they will inevitably be bored, cranky and uncomfortable, and because we are confined to our seats, we are forced to suffer through it all. I wish that children under a certain age would not be allowed to board flights over a certain length of time except for special circumstances."
Pros: "The "very" new 777-200 was very comfortable, well-laid out. I usually skip or leave half of the in-flight food served, but this rates as one of the best meals, I've had in an airplane outside of business class. The in-flight entertainment/information service was decent, but perhaps because the plane was still in new condition."
Cons: "On this entire business trip, I booked with other companies, but ended up 5 flights operated by American Airlines. One cancellation, 4 delayed, 3 late arrivals. The last one was the most annoying. I will be avoiding AA in the future. The domestic crews are generally brusque and miserable. The international flight crews were more accommodating and pleasant, but most of them also seemed annoyed at passenger presence. Also, having to pay for a preferred seat on a half-empty airplane is simply unfair. By 24hrs before the flight, AA must have known there were plenty of empty seats."

Lastly, these delays caused the plane to arrive in Tokyo at 12:30AM (originally it was 10:30PM). All transportations options were closed. I had to take a $90 USD taxi fare into the city. JAL or AA should have given travel vouchers to everyone who needed them. BAD SERVICE, BAD COMMUNICATIONS, BAD RATING."

I could have flown through any other city en route to Raleigh, so it was frustrating that Frontier would not do anything for me until I got to Denver, because the risk was extremely high that I would miss the last flight out of Denver. Fortunately, Frontier decided to hold the connecting flight so that people on this flight could make their connection. HOWEVER, I landed a few hours later in CHARLOTTE, NC. Apparently Frontier had not checked my ticket when I boarded the wrong plane. My ticket clearly indicated that I was supposed to be on the flight to Raleigh. From Charlotte, there was an American Airlines flight that I could have transferred to--something that every other airline I've flown has done under these circumstances. But Frontier told me they don't put passengers on other airlines' flights, so I had to wait another couple of hours to catch Frontier's next flight to Raleigh. Throughout the whole process, it was very frustrating because for hours while I waited at LAX, I couldn't find a single Frontier employee. I even had to wait at ticketing when I arrived at the airport, not because of a line but because there was no one from Frontier at the counter. All of this suggests to me that Frontier just doesn't care. They don't care enough to be at the airport in case passengers have problems like this. They don't care enough to avoid missed connections by putting people on different flights. They don't care enough to make sure passengers are getting on the correct flights."

I will no longer fly frontier. I do have to say the staff we very kind and professional."

There wasn't even anyone at the ticket counter until 1.5 hours before our flight. After a long international flight we were stuck in the terminal with no food, sitting on the floor. All because frontier is too cheap to do anything extra for their customers. And $40 for a bag? That's ridiculous. Put it in the price of the ticket... And give me a drink on the plane. NEVER EVER EVER again. I'll spend the extra money to fly southwest where they care about their customers."

Other than that Frontier's service, from paying for your carry on and beverages and the ticket agents to the flight attendants was, I imagine, worse than a greyhound bus ride. I was able to download the frontier app and get my boarding pass, and make the flight (drenched in sweat from running through the airport) as they were closing the boarding door. Thank god for cardio and determination."
Cons: "There were five ticket agents at the counter when I got to the counter (an hour before my flight). All five of them were helping one person and talking to each other for about 10 minutes. Then one split off to help the next person in line - or just to get a laugh by telling the couple they weren't make their flight and they weren't going to drop anymore bags to the plane because we were close to the 45 minute cutoff before the departure time. Perhaps if they had been working as a team rather than a gang the whole lot of us would have been checked in on time. When I got on the plane (after asking folks in security if I could get in front of them and running like a madman through the terminal) the flight attendant was the pinnacle of passive aggressive annoyance. This was my first and probably last ticket I buy flying frontier."

Cons: "The seats were very uncomfortable, there was no entertainment, you have to pay $40 for carry on luggage. The flight got delayed 3 hours, the staff was rude to the passengers. We had to take a detour to Philadelphia instead of NY to refuel, which took an extra hour and a half. They gave us no snacks/vouchers in the mean time. We ended up arriving at 10pm instead of the original arrival time of 4pm."

We then had to stop in Philadelphia to refuel for hours and ended up at Laguardia close to 6 hours late! During that time a no point did the crew offer the passengers any snacks or even water. Not even to the children. They actually made people who couldn't hold any longer pay for snacks and drinks! The pilot then had a tantrum and refused to leave until a dissatisfied passenger was removed. Classy... Also, they make you pay for carry-on. Quite a lot. Smallest seats I have ever been in. Avoid this airline!!!"

Cons: "Lets begin with the scam of low ticket prices. You you're getting a good deal until the day before the flight when you have PAY FOR CARRYON LUGGAGE. Then, there was an hour and a 45 min delay. At the airport, the Frontier computer systems were down, so getting on the plane had to be done manually. On the plane, some of the crew was rude like a man named RAY and the black flight attendant who used the most aggressive tone over the loud speaker. Here's the worst part, on a flight from MIA to NYC the plane had to stop and refuel in Philadelphia. If that's not crazy, I don't know what is! They told us it would only take 20 minutes, but we were in Philly for TWO HOURS! There was a lady that wanted to know what was going on, so she asked the flight attendants who told her they had no info. She asked for their names, which they refused to give to her and they proceeded to have her KICKED OFF THE PLANE by the captain. We got no complimentary snacks during this ordeal. I asked a flight attendant for free chips and got laughed at in my face. As you can tell, I will never fly Frontier again. The flight was supposed to leave MIA at 2:50pm and land at 5:00pm.. We got to NYC at 10:00pm. NEVER AGAIN."

I had checked the status that night when I checked in and early in the morning and the system said that the flight was on time. It wasnt until I reached the airport and the lady behind the baggage counter told me that the flight was delayed for two hours. I went to go eat with my daughter at the Chilis restaraunt. I figired since the flight was delayed why not have some lunch and head to the plane an hour before take off time. I left the restarant and went through screening. One of the TSA memebers asked me why was I going in so early when the flight was on delayed. I let them know that the flight was suppose to be taken off in an hour so they let me through. As I'm walking through the terminla they have someone walking bu asking if anyone was getting on the frontier flight. I told them that I was on that flight and they told me I needed to hurry up because the plane was about to leave. I became nervous ans started running down the gate to make it to the plane. I'm running with a two year old so Im pretty sure that you can only imagine how difficult that was. Once I reached the gate I was out of breath and it was suppose to be eight minutes before we took off. However we sat on the plane for about another thirty minutes before we left. I feel as though the communication with the airline is not there 100% and if you are sitting in an airport you should be able to hear the update especially when they are not planned ir taking place at a time that is different from what was already relayed."

Before signing up for a Spirit flight, make sure you add the cost of checking carry-on bag, getting a seat assignment, getting any water during flight, boarding (yes they up charge for boarding). Then, make sure you factor in the small size of the airline which makes it far, far more vulnerable to weather delays - fewer planes, fewer pilots, fewer re-routes available. Also, add at least an hour to the end of each flight to get your bags if you do check them. So, you don't save money or time, and you're very vulnerable to weather and mechanical. With their organization this bad, I can only imagine how weak their mechanical is."

On top of that, they announce an advertisement for their credit card aboard, with a whole plane of captive listeners forced to hear. Awful customer service, no phone number to call, will never fly spirit again If I can ever help it!!!"

This was the first time I've flown with Spirit and it will be the last. I should have known better than to not book with Delta or Southwest. Even though you lure customers in with your initial low price but than you nickel and dime the customers to death with fees for everything and the extreme high cost for luggage, that your initial ticket price became higher than the other two carriers initial price. Shame on you!"

Cons: "Boarding was confusing, there were too many people whose zone wasn't called waiting around the entry way. This crowd appeared to be the line but in fact wasn't. No Spirit employee was around to help avoid it. This wasn't a real big deal but some airlines avoid it with a simple announcement, asking those who haven't been called to remain seated. I would suggest Spirit does something similar. I don't like all the extra charges, for example for a second carry-on, but I get it, it's your way of offering cheap flights. I gave the food and entertainment only 3 stars just because of the charge, I didn't actually purchase anything."

Cons: "On my departing flight I was delayed right off the bat for 2 hours. Then after that we sat on the tarmac for 2 hours and then deboarded and delayed another 3 hours. The staff was very unhelpful and I paid $28 for a seat upgrade which was not even fulfilled because I requested an aisle seat and got a window seat. The staff was also very rude and told me this why hispanic people have a sterotype. On my arriving flight I was double charged for my carrying on and backpack. I was told that I would need to pay for both but when I went into the gate that was not the case and I saw that my backpack met specifications to not be charged. When I paid the fee the attendant took money out from her brasserie to give me change and then pocketed the cash and when I asked for a reciet she said the computer system was down and on my boarding ticket it did not have that I paid for a carry on so I was given a hard time at the gate. When I explained what happened they said okay as if this shady stuff is acceptable. I was then delayed in the air for 2 hours and rerouted to detroit to get gas. We were told to hold tight and not allowed to use the restroom for an hour to then be told we had to deboard for an addtional 2 hours. This is horrible and I will continue to speak with someone until I get a refund."

Cons: "This was one of the worst flight experiences of my entire life. I had to pay almost $200 in extra fees, which included everything from checked bags, carry on bags AND seat selection. Their website is awful! It took me over 2 hours plus 2 customer service phone calls before I was able to check in for my flight. Completely disorganized at the airport. Under staffed. We arrived 2 hours early and barely made our flight. We were in lines so long we barely had time to use the restroom, let alone find any kind of food for the flight. Upon boarding, I witnessed one of the flight attendants being extremely rude and hostile to a female customer who was talking to her friend about how bad her Spirit experience was. A supervisor came back and instead of reprimanding the rude flight attendant, she told all of us that if the flight attendant didn't feel "comfortable" with any of us, we would be "removed" from the flight! The flight was delayed because they closed the cabin doors before 10 additional customers were able to make it through their ridiculous lines. Instead of apologizing for their incompetence, they blamed the customers for being late, despite the fact that at least one of them initially arrived at the same time we did (2 hours before the flight)! Oh and the flight itself was rickety as hell with screaming babies everywhere. I'm absolutely DREADING the return flight home. This is the worst airline ever and should be shut down as soon as possible."

It seems that they really try to nickel and dime you."
Pros: "Very efficient flight. The cabin was clean and comfortable. For the cost of the tickets I got a fantastic value, @ even 50% more this would have been satisfactory. Flew form Oakland, Ca. to LA and back, on the return flight we got assigned the upfront big seats which was a nice treat."

Overall, I was over 2 hours late to my destination. With minimal percentage of battery left on my phone, I was lucky to be able to arrange a ride to my home. This is after being hassled about having a plastic bag of food just bought in the terminal, in addition to the ONE bag to travel with. I don't mind the un-reclining seats, but the leg room was very minimal. Especially for someone over 5'6" tall, much less someone of my height."
